Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Jet) pilots aircraft following standard operating procedures to ensure that flights operate according to all regulations, safety, and company policies. Follows required procedures to perform pre-flight checks and inspections. Being a Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Jet) determines flight routes, speed, take-off, and landing times that will fulfill scheduling requirements. Completes required documentation and performs post-flight procedures as required. Additionally, Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Jet) may require a bachelor's degree. Requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Requires FAA Commercial Pilot's License. Typically reports to chief pilot. The Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Jet) work is highly independent. Experienced SIU Investigator
A minimum of 5 years' SIU experience is required.
Must have background in handling P&C investigations. Candidates who do not have property (non-auto) experience will not be considered.
Must have reliable transportation, along with own digital recorder and camera. Job duties include taking in-person recorded statements, scene photos, and writing a detailed, comprehensive report, as well as meeting strict due dates on all assignments. Bilingual a plus.
