Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Non-Jet) jobs in Monterey, CA

Scheid Family Wines has an exciting opportunity for a NAV Specialist and Jet Reports Developer to join our team in Salinas, CA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage Service Requests for Dynamics NAV ERP System

· Assign Security Profiles and User Rights within Dynamics NAV

· Assist End Users with following ERP Workflows

· Manage relations with our Dynamics NAV Development Partners and other software vendors

· Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time

· Provide suggestions for solutions for NAV processes and reports

· Refine and automate regular processes and reports, and document changes

· Create/Maintain Jet Reports for all departments using NAV Data Sets in Excel

· ​​Responsible for the development and administration of Jet Reports

· Make recommendations for a transition plan to Power BI

· Ability to transform raw data into meaningful insights

· Ability to perform a wide range of tasks such as reporting, building dashboards, building data models, analyzing datasets, and administration of Dynamics NAV and Jet Reports

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s degree in computer applications or similar field with 3 to 5 years of project-based work experience

· Experience with Jet Reports

· Experience with Power BI a plus

· Experience with ERP modules including Payroll, Sales Orders and Accounts Receivable, Purchasing and Accounts Payable, Warehousing and Inventory, and Production Scheduling

· 2 years of experience with electronic data interchange (EDI)

· 2 years of experience with Windows Security, including Active Directory

· 2 years of experience with structured query language (SQL)

· Dynamics NAV Developer certifications a plus

· A deep understanding of, and ability to use and explain, all aspects of Jet Reports using NAV’s SQL Server databases.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and/or keyboard. Required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. This job requires use of the computer and phone.
