Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our team. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients. This is a crucial role in our healthcare facility, as your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnoses and patient care.

Duties:
- Perform ultrasound procedures using sonography equipment
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly
- Apply gel to the patient's skin and use the transducer to obtain images of the specific body area
- Analyze the images and provide preliminary findings to the physician or healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as necessary
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during procedures
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments

Skills:
- Proficiency in sonography techniques and equipment operation
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and identify abnormalities or pathologies
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures and interpretation of cardiac images
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately capture images
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate empathy towards patients' concerns
- Proficient in recording vital signs accurately
