Cardiac Catheterization Technologist jobs in Hobbs, NM

Cardiac Catheterization Technologist performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and other related procedures. Inserts small catheters through a needle into the blood vessels and into the heart so that X-rays, angiograms and other recordings can be taken to determine the heart's structure and function. Being a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist assist physicians with patient monitoring during surgery or procedures. Documents evaluation results, progress reports, treatment plans and other data using appropriate formats and systems. Additionally, Cardiac Catheterization Technologist some positions may require additional certifications such as: Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES). Requires an associate degree. Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Requires Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS). Typically requires State License. Typically reports to a manager. Cardiac Catheterization Technologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Vascular Technologist - Cardiac Cath

    Up to $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

    Under the supervision of the Technical Manager, performs vascular ultrasound procedures with technical accuracy to patients of all age groups, to assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury. Minimal supervision required.

    Required qualifications:

    • Coursework/Training: Course study or on-the-job training in vascular ultrasound.
    • National Registered Vascular Technologist upon hire Or
    • National Registered Vascular Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire Or
    • National Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography upon hire.
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
    • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
    • One (1) year experience in health care setting.
