Established in 2000, our 11 board certified cardiologists and 8 mid-level providers; provide services at 5 office locations and multiple area hospitals. The Cardiology Stress Technologist performs stress tests and assists with various cardiac monitors and other services provided by the Testing Department. Qualified candidates will have an excellent working knowledge of cardiology-specific equipment and supplies, radiation safety, and other job-essential matters. The Technologist will be expected to perform stress tests, perform charting duties in the PACS and EMR, and perform other duties as assigned or as necessary. The employment location will initially be in Bloomfield Hills, but may require coverage duty in our Commerce and / or Clarkston locations.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years stress testing experience
• Strong knowledge of EKG interpretation with the ability to recognize abnormalities.
• EKG hookup and interpretation
• Blood pressure monitoring
• Direct patient care and good interaction skills
• Experience with the use of cardiac monitors

Experience Preferred

• Has completed internship/rotation in Cardiac Rehabilitation or a Clinical Cardiology setting
• At least 1 year experience in private practice setting
• Chart documentation
• Physician interaction

Required Credentials:

• ACLS Healthcare Provider certification required or willingness to complete upon hire
• BLS certification

Job Type: Full-time
