Job Summary:

HCA Midwest Health is seeking a service line medical director within cardiology to support interventional, structural heart, imaging and non-invasive specialties. Based in Kansas City, this is predominately a clinical leadership role.

Qualified Candidates:

• Interventional cardiology fellowship & board certification required
• 5 years of clinical experience preferred
• Proficient in complex PCI
• 2 years of experience leading a clinical, administrative, or academic department OR aptitude for physician leadership
• A record of clinical credibility and achievement
• Role will be instrumental in supervision, management, oversight and development of the cardiology program
• Cardiologist will provide medical leadership in support of safe, timely, efficient, effective and compassionate patient-centered care across all locations of cardiology care within the HCA Midwest Division

Program Highlights:

• Our cardiovascular team consists of 5 cardiothoracic surgeons, 17 noninvasive clinical cardiologists, 13 interventional cardiologists, 9 electrophysiologists, and 40 advanced practice providers
• Physician-led board/governance structure that directs the strategic direction of the service line
• ACGME accredited cardiology fellowship program started in 2022
