Being a Career Advisor develops student advising resources and facilitation guides. Supports on-campus recruiting efforts and programs involving student and employee interactions. In addition, Career Advisor typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Being a Career Advisor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. POSITION: Career Development Counselor - West Fargo High School
TERM: Contract beginning with the 2022-2023 school year
SUMMARY: Provides career planning, education, and resources for students at Cheney Middle School and West Fargo High School
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)
QUALIFICATIONS:
SALARY: Commensurate with experience and education, the starting salary for this position is $38,493-$61,775 for 188-day contract, following the 2022-2023 Teachers' Salary Schedule
The WFPS District funds the entire 11.75% employee contribution to TFFR, as well as the 12.75% employer contribution.
