The Career Advisor organizes workshops to develop the necessary skills associated with career development. Assists and counsels students with their transitions to employment. Being a Career Advisor develops student advising resources and facilitation guides. Supports on-campus recruiting efforts and programs involving student and employee interactions. In addition, Career Advisor typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Being a Career Advisor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
