    The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering's Office of Career Development and Corporate Relations (CDCR) seeks candidates for a part-time Career Services Specialist. This part-time position will engagement data, communicate with employers through the platform to ensure strong employer engagement in student recruitment activities, and utilize data to inform employer engagement strategy. Additionally, this position will manage small employer engagement events and assist with career fair and industry day planning.

    Essential Functions
    Provide analytical information regarding corporate relations activities and programs as well as collect and report data which will inform corporate relations strategy.

    Input employer engagement data into Salesforce.

    Pull information from other software platforms into Salesforce to provide holistic record
    keeping.

    Assist the assistant director to determine strategy regarding moving employers from initial
    engagement to corporate partner based on data collection in Salesforce.

    Prepare communication campaigns, pulling reports from Salesforce.

    Compile and maintain data to support planning and program execution, as well as to assist with decision making.

    Plan, manage and promote all aspects of small employer engagement events such as table talks, employer-in-residence, coffee chats, lunch and learns, student organization meetings and employer interviews (appx. 120-150 events per academic year.

    Assist with career fair planning (appx. 6 fair days and 6 interview days per year) and industry day planning (2-4 events per year) in collaboration with career services manager, as needed.
    Minimum Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications
    Education and Experience:
    Level I: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.

    Level II: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field plus 2 years experience in coordinating and/or providing career services and/or programs. Experience must include at least 2 years at the preceding level or equivalent.

    Level III: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field plus 4 years experience in coordinating and/or providing career services and/or programs. Experience must include at least 2 years at the preceding level or equivalent.

    Substitutions allowed for Experience:
    When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.
    Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications

    Minimum Skills and Abilities
    Strong attention to detail and leadership skills. Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent computer skills, well-developed organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Customer-service focus.
