Carpenter constructs, maintains, and remodels buildings or related structures. Installs, fixes, or modifies all aspects of a building, including walls, ceilings, floors, and stairs, as well as related structures like railings, doors, windows, and air conditioning systems. Being a Carpenter follows blueprints and plans to ensure requirements and specifications are met. Observes all worksite safety procedures and guidelines. Additionally, Carpenter inspects buildings to determine repair that needs to be done. An apprenticeship and/or formal training may be required. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Carpenter works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Troubleshooting Skills:
Must be a quick thinker and have the ability to be able to examine a problem situation and come up with a resolution in a prompt and professional manner.
Excellent Communication Skills:
Must be able to communicate with Management, Office Personnel, Fellow Employees, Homeowners, Suppliers, Property Managers, and Commercial Customers.
Presentable:
Clean-Cut appearance
Decent looking vehicle
Organized tools
Other:- Looks around the property and communicates to the customer, things you could repair or things that our company can handle.
