TierPoint is experiencing tremendous growth. We have an amazing opportunity for a Cash Application Analyst to join our team. This position will be responsible for cash applications, credit risk analyses and reporting.  The ideal candidate will ensure that cash is applied, and credit ratings are processed in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Post all cash entries—ACH, Wires, Lockbox, Credit Cards, Misc. items, Direct Debits
• Respond to customer questions and requests for credit card & eCheck payment updates
• Perform cash month-end close process
• Prepare daily and weekly cash trending reports
• Sorting and actioning Cash Application emails and NetSuite cases
• Actively participate and communicate in team-based work groups to improve processes
• Provide customer service and develop relationships with internal/external customers
• Cross-training other staff members as needed
• Perform adhoc reporting as needed
• Support the accounting month end close process
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

• 2 - 5 years’ experience, preferably in corporate cash applications and credit risk
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent areas
• Knowledge of cash applications and credit procedures and practices
• Proficiency in using MS Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUPS and Windows-based computer applications
• Adequate professional experience and knowledge to perform Job Responsibilities
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work both independently and with others
• Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
• Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience particularly in the data center industry

• Remote or Office environment

The pay range for this position may be narrower than that displayed, depending on the candidate’s career experience and where the work is performed. 

Salary Range

Minimum: $55,886.08 – Maximum $83,829.12
