Job Overview
The Accounts Payable/Cash Applications Analyst is responsible for the daily financial transactions including accounts payable, payments received, and various other transactions. This position is responsible for posting payments and processing any vendor invoices on a daily basis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Process and match accounts payable invoices with goods receipts and PO’s
· Review documentation and bring any discrepancies to the proper parties for resolution
· Based on provided coding, enter items such as invoices with correct codes in the financial system.
· Maintain financial documentation and filing systems
· Post accounts receivable payments received timely and accurately and deposit checks electronically
· Post adjustments, write-offs, and credit memos to accounts.
· Request checks for overpayments and miscellaneous items.
· Follow up with customers regarding overdue invoices and ensure proper documentation has been provided
· Transmit statements to select customers on a monthly basis
· Provide quality customer service to all internal and external customers.

Qualifications / Requirements

REQUIRED
· Associate degree in accounting or related field.
· 1 years of experience in accounting or similar role.
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 3 years’ experience in accounting or similar role
· Quickbooks/Epicor/Netsuite experience
