Under direct supervision, uses historical data to perform analysis of business issues utilizing established methodology and tools. On-Site Location- Jacksonville, FL In this role, you will: Independently balance Cash department verify documentation using source documents. Complies with all established procedures associated with verifying daily and monthly notes destroyed. Compiles large notes and small notes for certification. Performs end of day balancing and settlement transactions in accordance with financial accounting guidelines. Processes financial accounting transactions/entries to depository institutions using accounting operating systems and inventory and web-based applications. Demonstrates ability to resolve complex out of balance conditions. Navigates complex inventory tracking within relevant accounting systems to record batch statistics/inventory, transfers among internal valuables handling teams and external customers, and differences and other pertinent data elements. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of automated accounting and transfer records. Generates and prints customer currency order documents at scheduled times throughout the day. Provide administrative support to the various units (including external stakeholders) and demonstrating highly effective verbal and written communication skills to include grammatically correct and in a tone and format befitting the message, verbally expresses rationale and opinions to others in a clear and concise manner and often drafting correspondence for Bank management. Perform volume and metric forecasting analysis, development of recurring reports, budget oversight and analysis, deposit quality and market intelligence analysis and reports. Provide recommendations to management to enhance department controls and efficiencies and completes projects and analysis assigned by management concerning Cash Services’ goals and responsibilities. Resolves complex or in-depth questions, problems, or requests timely and efficiently. Complete financial and procedural management audits to include COSO compliance, may facilitate counterfeit testing and certification for Bank staff and provides recommendations to enhance department controls and efficiencies and provides feedback on proposed changes to governing policies and procedures. May review the digital video surveillance system regularly to ensure it is operating within specified parameters. Monitor and review quality issues identified in deposits from depository institutions with respect to adherence to established guidelines to facilitate maximum production and customer service. Support external customer engagements to manage relationships, service levels, and improve business outcomes and results. May serve on Division, District and/or System workgroups to support achievement of high priority business line initiatives, and complete special projects as assigned by management. Education: Associate’s degree or two years equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree or four years equivalent experience preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar Experience collecting and analyzing data Critical thinking and active learning: Ability to identify basic problems and establish new solutions.
