The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Division of Finance, is seeking to fill the Bureau Chief of Budget and Cash Management position, to serve as the Budget Director and oversee the State’s $30 billion dollar Medicaid and Child Support Services budgets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the knowledge and experience to formulate, implement, and defend the Department’s budget and exhibit the ability to administer fiscal management responsibilities for Department programs. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated with strong management and leadership skills and a minimum of three years of professional supervisory experience. Advanced degrees, professional certifications, or continuing education with relevance to the Department’s mission are preferred. This position requires a high energy individual with a successful track record who can multi-task while managing the Department’s budget process.
