Cash Management Service Manager is responsible for the ongoing service of cash management programs for business banking clients. Oversees development and implementation of custom plans to meet client's cash management requirements. Being a Cash Management Service Manager acts as a liaison between client companies, service representatives, account management and sales, providing technical support as needed. Makes recommendations on technical aspects of cash management service plan design. Additionally, Cash Management Service Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Cash Management Service Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Cash Management Service Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Performing monthly bank reconciliations for several ZBA and depository accounts;
- Verifying the activity for various eCommerce platforms to bank accounts to ensure everything has posted accurately to the general ledger and the bank;
- Preparing daily cash reports;
- Preparing, disbursing, and coordinating all of the daily cash transactions for entry into general ledger;
- Reviewing monthly petty cash reimbursements for proper accounting information and in accordance with University policy;
- Preparing and reconciling supporting schedules and reports applicable to investments, including annuities and endowments; and
- Other complex accounting duties as assigned by management based on Finance Division needs.
- Bachelor’s degree is required with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.
- Demonstrated strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated knowledge of banking and investments.
- Ability to effectively use a PC with Excel, Microsoft Word, accounting, and banking software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to operate independently, prioritize and organize own work schedule, multi-task, and meet established deadlines.
- Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
