Cash Management Service Supervisor jobs in Lancaster, PA

The Cook Supervisor is responsible for cooking and preparing food using standard recipes and production guidelines while following food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. The individual in this role should safely handle knives and equipment including grills, fryers, ovens, broilers, etc. The Cook Supervisor will supervise employees and delegate responsibilities. The responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets (Production sheets and recipes).
• Direct daily activities.
• Cook and otherwise prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Maintains food production that ensures the safety and quality of food according to policies, procedures, and department requirements.
• Ensure that food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment.
• Ensure that all food items are served per menu specifications in a safe and appropriate manner following Omni dining service policies and procedures.
• Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory on a daily basis.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel; promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment.
• Train/mentor other cook workers.
• Ensure all food safety/temperature logs are completed with appropriate corrective action, as necessary.
• Proficiency in multi-tasking.
• Must fill in for absent employees, as necessary.
• Able to work in special events required by your manager or director.
• Perform task as requested by your manager on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.
• Completion of any task requested by any member of the Omni dining service management team.
• Maintain communication with staff.
• May perform cashier duties as needed.

• Oversee daily operations, including receiving, storage, and preparation of food products, as well as guest relations, business flow, and service standards.
• Adept at resolving guest issues and complaints, handling unexpected situations, and making operational decisions that enhance guest experience and optimize efficiency.
• Manage breaks for crew members.
• Assign duties, responsibilities, and workstations to employees in accordance with work requirements.

Qualifications

• Great customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• ServSafe Certification
• Food Service experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Requires frequent lifting/transporting hot food items
• Ability to work inside the kitchen area, interact with heated equipment, steam, loud noise, chemicals, and other at-risk conditions

• Have a valid PA driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
