Essential Functions
Reviews statutory procedures, drafts position papers and other materials necessary in the review of legislation related to IDoA program areas.
Assists the Deputy Director and Division Managers in performing liaison work between Divisions, Legislative Affairs and Office of the General Counsel.
Maintains a timetable for each rule revision to assure that all deadlines, notifications, responses, and meetings are met, assuring a minimum delay between proposal and adoption.
Assists in the coordination of policy development activities, including interactions with providers, professional and advocacy groups.
Serves on inter- and intra-Divisional committees as required by the Deputy Director.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
