Job Summary:
We are seeking an Expeditor to join our team. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. As an Expeditor, you will work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure that food is prepared and delivered to customers in a timely manner. This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties:
- Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and serving staff
- Ensure that all food items are prepared according to customer specifications and quality standards
- Verifying food is made correctly and all modifications are met on the ticket
- Monitor ticket times to ensure prompt delivery in House & On The Road
- Assist with food preparation, such as chopping vegetables, or prepping salads
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Running Food Between FOH & BOH
- Plating Salads, Chips, & Various Sides
Skills:
- Culinary knowledge and experience in a restaurant setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
