Central Office Equipment Technician jobs in Georgia

We are looking to hire Entry Level Techs for this work. You will be doing installs primarily with equipment off the Ciena 6500 platform. This work could be a card add, shelf add, or even a wave server install. You will run and lace secondary power inside the frame as well as run and scope fiber and cat 6 cabling.

 You want to get out of your home town and see the country... Must be willing to Travel 75% of the time.

• Training Provided
• Project is long term in duration
• Per diem available for all over night travel

• Must have personal hand tools
• Network cabling or data center experience is a plus but not a must

Working Conditions

• Use of small tools
• Climbing of stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolds
• Heavy physical effort (up to 50 pounds)
• Exposure to chemicals and solvents. Exposure to mechanical, electrical, and/or other hazards
