TerraGraphics Environmental Engineering, Inc. seeks qualified Senior Mechanical Engineer candidates for future positions.  The successful candidates will be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individuals who can work well on a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.   Qualified applicants to this position will be placed on a roster for potential future openings.

In this position, the candidate will perform detailed design and analysis of mechanical systems with emphasis on piping systems, process vessels, and customized mechanical equipment designs, both for industrial and nuclear applications.

 Responsibilities may include:

• Participating in multidiscipline design teams to develop detailed designs
• Working independently to develop specific design media to meet client design criteria and objectives
• Development and/or review of design media that will be issued for construction
• Preparing design drawings, design calculations, equipment procurement specifications, fabrication and construction specifications
• Reviewing and evaluating customer design criteria and interpreting and applying design codes and standard to ensure design products conform to approved design criteria, preparing or reviewing design calculations and design drawings or sketches for correctness and accuracy
• Provide support during construction/start-up and testing phases of projects including procurement support, submitting reviews, responding to requests for information, and documenting engineering changes

 Required Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10 years’ experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and nuclear codes
• Proficient use of Microsoft Suite products such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point

 Desired Qualifications

• PE License
• DOE or Hanford Experience strongly preferred
