Ceramics Engineer, Sr. jobs in Medford, OR

Encore Ceramics is currently seeking to add production employees to our team. These positions are key contributor roles on department teams that require safely and efficiently manufacturing products that will meet the needs of our customers.

DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

Follow all safety rules and regulations

Learn colors and pieces
Learn to master all necessary job specific paperwork
Observe and learn various duties
Watching for issues and defects
Maintain a clean and safe work place
General duties as assigned

DEMANDS OF THE POSITION

• Standing for 8 to 10 hours a day.
• Able to lift 50 to 100 lbs often.
• Pushing carts weighing up to 70 lbs daily.
• Become proficient in identifying all the various lines, and designs of the product.
• Knowledge of product standards.
• Ability to interpret and follow instructions provided either orally, visually, or in writing.
• Maintain positive and respectful communications with all Company personnel. Communicate with co-workers and management to resolve problems, explore options, and maintain production/quality standards.
• Adapt willingly to changes in procedures. Maintain curiosity about the process. May be required to assist other staff with workload or special assignments as directed by management.
• Position demands organization and trustworthiness.
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance.
• Exposure to company information and/or classified product information may require compliance with strict confidentiality standards, violation of which could result in immediate dismissal.
