Certified Medication Technician jobs in Tulsa, OK
Certified Medication Technician administers prescribed medications to patients and maintains related medical records under immediate supervision. Administers medications using proper dosage, route, timing, and techniques. Being a Certified Medication Technician verifies the identity of the patient receiving medication. Records the name of the drug, the dosage, the time of administration, and any other relevant information on specified forms or records. Additionally, Certified Medication Technician takes vital signs and observes patient to detect response to medication. Follows all relevant safety guidelines and regulations. Requires a high school diploma. Requires Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification. Typically reports to a registered nurse or manager. Certified Medication Technician's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

Starting pay of $15 - $20 per hour dependent upon shift and inclusive of base pay and any incentives. Please see wage details below.
Shift Details
The following shifts are available:
Day Shift: Monday- Friday, 5:45am - 2:15pm (base pay only $15 - 16 / hourly)
Evening Shift: Monday - Friday, 1:45pm - 10:15pm (base pay with a shift differential $18 - $19 / hourly)
Weekend Shift: Saturday - Sunday, 5:45am - 10:15pm (base pay with Baylor pay bonus ($18.75 - $20 / hourly)
Responsibilities
- Administer and accurately record the administration of medications as prescribed by a resident's physician(s) in accordance with company policy and applicable state and federal guidelines under the supervision of a nurse
- Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs
- Manage the supply of medications
- Provide accounting for all medications ordered, received, stored, and administered
- Care for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
- Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status
- Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
- Assist in dining including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean-up
