Certified Nurse Anesthetist prepares prescribed solutions and administers anesthetic following specified methods and procedures. Informs physician of patient's condition during anesthesia. Being a Certified Nurse Anesthetist performs pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and documents anesthesia notes on patient records. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Certified Nurse Anesthetist requires Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager. Certified Nurse Anesthetist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Starting pay of $14 - $18.75 per hour dependent upon shift and inclusive of base pay and any incentives. Please see wage details below.
The following shifts are available:
Day Shift: Monday- Friday, 5:45am - 2:15pm (base pay only $14 - 15 / hourly)
Evening Shift: Monday - Friday, 1:45pm - 10:15pm (base pay with shift differential $17 - $18 / hourly)
Overnight Shift: Schedule options listed on application, 9:45pm - 6:15am (base pay with shift differential $15 - $16 / hourly)
Weekend Shift: Saturday - Sunday, 5:45am - 10:15pm (base pay with Baylor pay bonus ($17.50 - $18.75 / hourly)
