MAIN FUNCTION: Provides Interfaith spiritual care to Griffin Hospital patients and staff in a professional manner under the guidance of the Director of Spiritual Care and Education and facilitates spirituality and support groups and other assignments from the Director. Community partnerships and outreach as well as program development will be a significant part of this role. Responsible for all documentation in a timely manner. Computer literate/clerical support. Chaplaincy shifts both in-hospital and on-call; must be available on weekends.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's/Master's degree plus 2 units of clinical pastoral education preferred, other experience considered.
EXPERIENCE: Emergency department chaplaincy and work in diversity & inclusion, strongly preferred. Crisis Ministry and Interfaith Chaplaincy and experience in facilitating groups required.
