Job Summary:

This is a chaplain position covering Friday & Saturday, hours to be determined. The Chaplain will provides clinically trained, broadly interfaith, ministry as well as faith specific spiritual care, to the entire hospital population.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in Divinity/Theology or equivalency, endorsed and/or ordained and in good standing with one's faith tradition and a minimum of 2 years experience working in a clinical setting plus excellent written/oral and interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player required. The ideal candidate will have 4 units (1600 hours) of Clinical Pastoral Education from the ACPE, and be Board Certified or eligible by one of the three major national pastoral care organizations (Association of Professional Chaplain, National Association of Catholic Chaplains, National Association of Jewish Chaplains). or must obtain within two years of appointment. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Chaplaincy experience in a Level I trauma center
Chaplain experience in an academic medical center
Chaplain experience in a hospital offering Clinical Pastoral Education
Self-starter, skilled in working independently and interdependently, excellent communication skills.

Work Days:

Fri & Sat. Hours to be determined.
