This Job Description defines minimum standards of performance and skills required to function as a Collections Manager at Rent-2-Own. In addition to these minimum standards, each Collections Manager must be willing to identify and perform tasks which contribute to the overall mission of the Rent-2-Own business and its relationship with our valued customers. This position is accountable for assisting the Store Manager in the daily operation of a Rental Store to attain delinquency rate objectives while maintaining customer service and store profitability. He or she is accountable for directing the daily activities of the Store’s Account Managers towards achieving the established standards and goals while maintaining a strong performance on a potential account route of their own. The Collections Manager is to support the responsibility and leadership directives of the Store Manager in the operation of policies and procedures established by the company. The Collections Manager must work with the Manager to maintain the overall customer count, revenues and profitability while controlling the cost of delinquent customer accounts. This Collections Manager must communicate to all employees the factors that cause a store to be successful and which of those factors they can impact through their daily job.
Satisfactory work record and attendance.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Valid State motor vehicle operator's license with evidence of safety and insurability within the guidelines of the insurer.
Strong leadership and team management skills.

Prior Customer Service / Retail / Collections experience.
Willingness to work within the policies, procedures, collections laws, and ethics established by the Company
Able to properly lift and repetitively maneuver all store products and equipment including but not limited to household furniture, appliances and electronics by using proper equipment and safe lifting techniques.
The ability to maintain and organize computer and paper files.
Must be dependable, reliable and mature enough to handle all types of monetary transactions, as well as other company assets such as equipment and vehicles in a safe and sensible manner.
