Additionally, Check Collections Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Check Collections Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. The position of Recovery Specialist is responsible for the negotiation and resolution of uninsured claims resulting from auto and/or property accidents. This position will carry a workload of multiple claims at any given time. This position is expected to maintain a minimum of standards set by the department management team including, but not limited to:
