Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to review and analyze documents to including criminal history record information.
• Ability of reviewing and analyzing pertinent laws, regulations, and policies, to include background checks processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to effectively train and provide guidance to diverse group of stakeholders
• Ability to develop reports, perform data analysis and provide briefings to executive level management.
• Ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision, interact with diverse teams and work collaboratively to ensure the standards and mission of DBHDS are met.
• Experience in policy development and implementation.
• Ability to problem solves and research relevant documentation to ensure quality service.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work of unit and accomplish duties in a timely manner.
• Effective critical thinking, oral and written communication skills.
• Maintain confidential automated and hard copy record keeping.
• Must possess or have the ability to quickly develop a comprehensive knowledge of state laws, regulations and policies pertaining to criminal background check process related to DBHDS’ facilities, CSBs and private providers.
• Ability to apply this information in response to providers contacts, via phone or written correspondences.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
• Strong skills in using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically, developing and extracting (data) spreadsheets using Access/Excel.
