About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to serve as a Product Owner for Small Business Card within the Cards and Merchant Services team. As a Product Owner, you will bring a strategic mindset and passion for experimentation as you work closely with Product Managers and collaborate with a variety of agile delivery teams, partners, and stakeholders across the organization. You will employ product management and agile techniques to optimize products for our customers. You will help drive the delivery of outcomes to the marketplace through ownership of the product backlog inclusive of prioritization, transparency into upcoming work, setting of product goals, and communication to support shared understanding. In this role, you will:-
Lead complex initiatives including understanding current capabilities and building for the future

Employ a customer-obsessed mindset and product management techniques to pursue a deep knowledge of customer behavior and act as their voice in discovery and product refinement

Orchestrate discovery practices, including testing and experimentation, to create a shared understanding of the technology domain, business strategy, and customer desire in the marketplace in partnership with design and engineering partners

Collaborate with your Product Manager, Area Product Owners, and stakeholders to contribute to and influence the overall product vision and roadmap

Exercise effective product backlog management including prioritization in alignment with Objectives and Key Results to deliver the greatest value-based outcomes in alignment with overall product strategy and setting of the product goal

Engage with cross-functional experts to ensure solutions are business ready from risk, legal, compliance, controls, and policy perspectives

Partner and consult with managers, stakeholders, scrum masters, project managers, and delivery team to resolve issues and achieve product goals

Display an agile mindset to adapt to changing customer needs, business strategies, and technology environments to deliver in a way that meets the demands of the current and future marketplace

Embrace innovation, collaboration, and experimentation to uncover new and unique opportunities for product advancement

Required Qualifications, US:-
5 years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:-
3 years of experience working in an Agile environment preferably using a scaled framework

Product owner certification such as Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I), SAFe Certified Product Owner (SAFe) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)

Experience leading a team through transformation from Waterfall to Agile

Credit card and/or financial industry experience

Leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members

Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations
-
Ability to incorporate multiple data sources and develop strategies
-
Proven ability to leverage various communication methods and styles across varying levels and sizes of audiences to convey the vision of a product and address critical decision points to sustain team, customer, and stakeholder excitement around the product

Customer centricity mindset; focused on putting the customer first in product development

Demonstrated ability for self-management, problem-solving, and critical decision making in an efficient manner using strong analytical thinking in a complex matrixed environment

Ability to use empathy to understand customer and end user needs and translate into delivery themes

Experience consulting, influencing and partnering with business executives, leadership, partners and peers

Strong facilitation skills, including ability to navigate conflict and negotiate for an outcome that balances the needs of the business
