JOB SUMMARYESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Subject matter expert (SME) for essential duties and responsibilities performed by Card Payments Operations Business Analysts I, II, & III job requirements.
2. Primary SME actively participating in project-oriented work efforts, problem identification and resolution, performance, productivity improvement and quality enhancements including delivery as well as merger & acquisition, new product release, systems conversions, remediations, etc. Knowledge share and lead initiatives.
3. May lead, oversee, direct and coordinate teammates' daily productivity. Manage and drive employee engagement activities. Engage team to develop a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, prioritizing, planning and implementing process improvement.
4. Responsible for reviewing & decisioning escalated production issues for quick resolution, supporting continuous development of systems owned by unit while also upholding compliance and regulatory requirements in decision-making.
5. SME and Trainer for multiple functions, duties, and responsibilities within a single business unit, as well as additional areas within other Card Based Services Operations teams.
6. SME for multiple business units within Card Operations, recognized as an aide-de-camp teammate for the various business units internal and external to Card Based Services Operations.
7. Assist in the interpretation, implementation, and communication of policies for the business unit and Card Operations, contribute, update and create policies.
8. Interact with internal and external auditors and bank examiners to review business processes, procedures, and practices.
9. Review audit findings, develop mitigation plan in conjunction with manager and Card Operations Governance team.
Provide feedback to manager on teammates' performance. This role may or may not have direct reports.10.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Meet the qualifications of a Card Payments Operations Business Analyst III position.
2. 7 years' experience as a Business Analyst within digital or electronic Payments-related areas
3. Demonstrated ability to make sound judgement calls, without supervision, related to issues with compliance and regulatory implications.
4. Mastery Skills in computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products
5. Professional, courteous, and effective verbal and written communication skills
6. Ability to work and think independently while being actively engaged in a mutually supportive teamwork environment, making excellent judgement calls and decisions without intervention from management
7. Leader and Role Model - adaptability skills to changing & competing priorities based on business needs and conditions
8. Exemplary organizational and interpersonal skills
9. Experience within Payments and third-party vendor processing systems (MasterCard/Visa, TSYS, FIS, FiServ, FCR, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in a leadership role
2. Previous experience as Subject matter expert (SME) in an Analyst role
3. Previous experience in a contributor role for special projects such as merger & acquisitions, systems
conversions, product development, etc.
