Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Convention Services Manager to join our team. As a Convention Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department. Duties:

- Manage and supervise a team of service staff, providing guidance and support

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty

- Coordinate and oversee service operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks

- Monitor service performance metrics and implement improvements as needed

- Handle escalated customer complaints or issues, resolving them in a professional and timely manner

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of services

- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of service staff

- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including customer interactions, feedback, and resolutions

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a service management role, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry

- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal

- Excellent time management and organizational abilities

- Proven ability to effectively market services and drive sales

- Proficient in event planning and execution

- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly

- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Familiarity with contract management processes
