We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for supervising the kitchen, menu planning, food management, and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills and a passion for culinary excellence.
Duties:
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards
- Manage inventory control, including ordering ingredients and supplies
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure high-quality meals are served
- Monitor food production to minimize waste and maintain cost-effectiveness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and sanitation practices
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and suppliers
