Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for building, grounds, and mostly mechanical maintenance on commercial and industrial equipment within a chemical packaging and distribution facility. This will include but is not limited to industrial rotating equipment, mechanical seals and gaskets, industrial valves and other piping components, millwright work, pipefitting, steel work, sheet metal work, and carpentry work. Responsible for ensuring safety standards are maintained within assigned areas of responsibility with prompt repair of potential safety hazards to avoid injuries or damage to assets. Performs various production operations functions as requested and required when maintenance duties do not require 40 hours.
