The Packaging Line & Formulations Operators at the AMVAC Marsing facility work on the packaging line operating various types of machinery to package, label, and prepare products for shipping. The formulators package seed treatment chemicals paying close attention to quality, safety, and meeting the production goals. Currently hiring for 2nd & 3rd shift – Monday through Friday.

• Operate the filling machinery, container capper, semi-auto labeler and casing equipment in the packaging area
• Set up equipment to accommodate various sizes of packages
• Oversee packaging quality ensuring conformance standards are met throughout the different stages of packaging
• Complete paperwork on work orders for amount and type of products that are packaged
• Assist at the palletizing station; operate forklift safely for moving & loading packages
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area in and around the packaging equipment; properly stacks and warehouses packaging components
• Follow all safety rules and actively participates in plant safety health management system
• Other duties as requested by supervisors and plant management

• 1 years of experience operating hand tools and power tools including storing and routine maintenance
• Basic math and reading skills
• Ability to follow instructions; Read & follow procedure manuals
• Forklift experience preferred
• Physical requirements include climbing, balancing, and regularly moving and safely lift up to 70 pounds
• Be able to wear personal protective equipment as required
• Work outdoors in all types of climates (below freezing and up to 90 )
• Pass a pre-employment background check and physical

• High School diploma or GED
