Ambit Chemical Technologies is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and professional development initiatives. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting screening interviews, and coordinating hiring efforts with department managers.

Implement and oversee onboarding programs for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company culture.

Manage employee relations, providing support and guidance on HR policies and procedures, and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.

Support the development and implementation of HR policies and programs that contribute to a positive work environment and high employee engagement.

Coordinate training and professional development opportunities for employees at all levels.

Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and employee documentation.

Assist with the administration of employee benefits, payroll, and leave policies.

Stay updated on labor laws and ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that align with the company’s strategic goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or similar role within HR.
• Knowledge of labor legislation and payroll practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and empathy.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
