Interstate Chemical Company is hiring an on-site Chemical Buyer/Purchasing Representative!
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for someone to work Monday - Friday, from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. This person will be required to report to the office during these hours.
The Chemical Buyer is responsible for procuring chemicals from suppliers. The Buyer must coordinate logistics with traffic, coordinate arrivals of incoming product with operations and convey problems with product availability to Customer Service. The buying desks are separated by the following categories: general bulk, dedicated bulk trucks, factory packs and bags, and metal finishing products.
MAJOR DUTIES:
