Description:
Amino Acids- Associate Analytical Chemist- 2nd shift (2:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m.)- 1 opening
The person will be performing the total amino acid profile and total tryptophan analyses on a daily basis. This will include sample handling, reagent/solution preparation, and working with various equipment (mainly ovens and HPLCs at first). They will also be working with Chromeleon software for setting up the analytical sequences on the HPLCs. Will be working with LC-MS and UPLC in the future.
Qualities: Organized, good time management, is proactive, and works well within a team; being able to troubleshoot HPLC instrumentation in the future after training will also be needed.
Positives: Most technical team and experience is more ideal for this team. Will be working with more tenured members of the department
