The Analytical Chemist I/II is responsible for the preparation and analysis of radioactive and non-radioactive samples generated in NorthStar’s production or development laboratories, maintenance, calibration, and qualification of analytical measurement equipment, and may assist with quality control of products. The Analytical Chemist I/II will be comfortable with cGMP documentation processes, have strong critical thinking skills, and be able to accurately interpret data.
The Analytical Chemist II will have additional responsibilities including:
Previous experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory making cGMP / GLP measurements is required.
Analytical Chemist I Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related physical science and minimum two (2) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two (2) years previous experience in a radiochemistry position with an understanding of radioisotopes used in nuclear medicine desired.
Analytical Chemist II Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and minimum four (4) years of laboratory experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a position working with open sources of radioactivity and an understanding of radioisotopes used in nuclear medicine desired.
