Our client, a 100 bed hospital located in Southern TN, has a need for a HR Manager to join their team. Healthcare HR experience is required as well as HR leadership experience.

JOB SUMMARY

The Manager of Human Resources is responsible for the daily operations and demands of the department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
• Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates incompliance with allocated funding.
• Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous HR leadership experience required. HR Acute healthcare experience preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree required. Human Resources certificate preferred. MAY consider experience over degree but an Associate's Degree is an absolute must.
• Experience with recruitment preferred.
