Admissions Screener

Our company is seeking an Admission Screener for the Jamestown NY, Erie PA area. Qualifications candidate's maybe clinical or non-clincial.

• Experienced Admission Screener
• RN, LPN, Social Worker, or Healthcare Experience

JOB SUMMARY: The Admissions Screener travels to outside agencies and health care facilities to determine the physical, mental and functional status of potential patients/residents for facilities within our portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience as an Admission Screener
• RN, LPN, Social Worker, or Healthcare Experience
• Valid driver’s license. Must be able to travel to multiple facilities during the work week.
• Possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Clinical background, including, but not limited to medical-surgical, geriatric, psychiatric, rehabilitative.
• Ability to work flexible hours with seven day a week availability.
• Ability to work independently, good organizational skills, basic computer literacy.
• Knowledge of sub-acute nursing services
• Knowledge of insurance, Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
• Public speaking abilities; ability to represent the facility at marketing presentations.
• Ability to foster and maintain professional relationships with hospital personnel including physicians.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
