Supported by all department directors and managers, this person will lead an outstanding and busy hospital in comprehensive care with oversight from the Emergency and Inpatient Departments, to the Social Work and Risk/Quality Departments. The Hospital Chief Nursing Officer will work with the hospital staff, educators, and other leaders to develop new patient care initiatives and increase overall hospital performance.

    The Hospital Chief Nursing Officer will be in charge of developing and implementing all departmental goals and standards that align with the clinical objectives, goals and values of the hospital. This requires evaluating operations, including patient care and improving productivity to achieve the hospital's goals. In addition, the Hospital Chief Nursing Officer identifies trends, prioritizes and recommends changes to improve quality areas. Most importantly, the Hospital Chief Nursing Officer will be responsible for creating an environment that promotes safe, outstanding care, and encouraging growth throughout the hospital.
