Slippery Rock University, a four-year, comprehensive university and leading member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, seeks a strategic, dynamic, and student-centric administrative professional to serve as its next Vice President Enrollment Management.
Reporting to the University President and serving as a member of cabinet, the Vice President Enrollment Management (VPEM) functions as the senior enrollment officer and supervises the directors of the units within the Division of Enrollment Management: First Year Recruitment and Admissions, Transfer Admissions and Orientation, Graduate Admissions, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Academic Records and Registration, and Career and Academic Progress.
The VPEM provides leadership and support for advancing the overall enrollment goals of the University and reflects the values of Slippery Rock University. The VPEM leads the University’s efforts to identify, recruit, and admit the optimal number and quality of traditional and non-traditional students for the University. The VPEM works collaboratively with University internal and external constituencies to develop a comprehensive marketing, recruitment, and admission plan and will ensure that enrollment management plan is consistent with the University strategic plan. The VPEM is also responsible for retention initiatives as related to the work of the department of academic services.
The VPEM provides leadership for a progressive strategic enrollment management environment that is aligned with the institution’s vision, mission, and goals and the Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education strategic goals and performance indicators.
Responsible for strategic leadership for institutional marketing (digital, broadcast, out-of-home, and major print), undergraduate first year and transfer recruitment and admissions, graduate recruitment and admissions, financial aid and scholarships, orientation, degree audit, academic advisement and planning resources, academic records and registration, and the department of academic services (FYRST Seminar, Learning Community Clusters, Exploratory Advising, Tutoring, College Success Skills, etc.).
