    Key Responsibilities

    • Direct and oversee daily operations, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives and core values.
    • Convert high-level strategies into practical initiatives that yield tangible outcomes.
    • Offer direction to the executive team on critical decision-making processes and business management.
    • Cultivate an open and engaging culture by clearly communicating organizational objectives and decisions across all tiers.
    • Mentor team members, facilitating their professional development in business planning, financial management, and risk assessment.
    • Supervise the organization's financial performance, ensuring positive budget results and optimal resource allocation.
    • Remain knowledgeable about nonprofit audit practices, state and federal legislation, and risk management best practices.
    • Regularly engage with operational locations and local communities to enhance the organization's image.
    • Assist in fundraising initiatives and resource development efforts to ensure organizational sustainability.
    • Serve as Secretary of the Board, ensuring seamless communication between the executive team and board members.
    • Collaborate with legal counsel and board leadership to evaluate business opportunities, manage risks, and ensure adherence to nonprofit regulations.
    • Streamline Board reporting and ensure timely communication.
    • Work alongside the CEO and Board leadership to devise strategies for Board development and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with the Chief Finance & Strategy Officer to provide the Board with essential financial and operational data for informed decision-making.
    • Oversee Board governance functions including bylaws, policies, and recordkeeping.
