Glenwood is seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee our financial operations. The CFO be responsible for planning and forecasting the overall financial vision for the company to ensure productive financial systems. This vision includes the development of accounting, budgeting, auditing, internal controls, and sound business practices, as well as directing staff to fulfill this vision. The CFO’s goal will be to ensure the company utilizes its resources efficiently and complies with all governmental financial regulations.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and collaborating with the CEO, the CFO will play a critical role in developing and implementing the financial strategy for Glenwood. As member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will be an advisor to divisional vice presidents, evaluating and assisting them with their financial plans and economic modeling. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization, in conjunction with other senior leaders, as well as the Board of Directors.
Responsibilities will include hands-on involvement in some direct financial work related to the annual budget and financial statements. Direct management of staff and administrative oversight duties are also required in the role. We are, therefore, looking for someone to join our team who enjoys working directly on financial plans and reports, in addition to managing their team.
The candidate will be a seasoned and mature leader, possessing strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, with a strong knowledge of accounting and financial standards.
