Seeking a Chief Financial Officer to work full time at our San Diego, CA headquarters. Annual Salary Range: $150,000 - $225,000.

LendSure Mortgage Corp. is seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team at our headquarters in San Diego, CA. As the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of LendSure Mortgage Corp. The CFO will lead the financial strategy, planning, and execution of financial operations, ensuring that our non-QM wholesale mortgage lending business operates efficiently, responsibly, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. We are looking for a highly experienced finance professional who can demonstrate exceptional judgment, exhibit excellent communication skills, pay meticulous attention to detail, and maintain a high level of professionalism. The ideal candidate will excel at managing numerous projects, prioritizing effectively under tight deadlines, and taking ownership of projects from start to finish. The CFO will leverage their 5 plus years of finance experience in a senior leadership role and their broad knowledge of standard accounting practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including Federal, State, and local tax laws.

Duties and Responsibilities

This position is on site at the San Diego location.

The Chief Financial Officer will provide:

• Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership to the organization, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and long-term growth strategies.
• Financial Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Risk Management: Implement and oversee risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Financial Reporting: Produce timely, accurate, and transparent financial reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Capital Management: Manage capital allocation, financial investments, and cash flow to optimize financial performance.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and accountability.
• Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Stay current on all Federal, State, and local tax laws, as well as other regulatory requirements impacting the mortgage lending industry.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and make recommendations to improve financial performance and mitigate risks.
• Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives, evaluate partnerships, and identify opportunities for growth.
• Cost Efficiency: Continuously seek cost-effective solutions to optimize operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA certification and/or MBA degree preferred.
• A minimum of 6 plus years of finance experience in senior leadership roles.
  
• A minimum of 4 years of public accounting.
• Prior leadership roles in mortgage banking or related financial services
• Experience with capital markets transactions, including the sale of loans to investors.
• Extensive knowledge of standard accounting practices and procedures.
• Strong understanding of Federal, State, and local tax laws and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and professionalism.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
