OUR CLIENT is searching for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their organization. The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for directing the operations of the Finance Division and providing strategic finance guidance to the organization. Manages the financial health and sustainability of the organization ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Duties vary widely and encompasses all aspects of governmental finance, accounting, and budgeting. The CFO plans, organizes, and directs the major programs and activities of the Finance Division including financial operations (financial accounting and reports, payroll, grant accounting, accounts payable and receivable, cash receipting, capital assets, and budget development) and administrative and financial planning including developing short-and-long range plans. Preferred qualifications/experience with Sage MAS500 Accounting Software, Procurement software including OpenGov, ADP WorkforceNow, ExecuTime and Munis Enterprise Spreadsheets.
