Job Summary:
Chloeta is seeking a CRNA for in Browning, MT. The facility is a modern 110,000 square foot comprehensive health care facility includes a 28-bed inpatient unit and a state-of-the-art 64 slice computer tomography (CT) unit in the fully digitized radiology and lab service department. We accept any state's license and require the ability to pass a federal background check. Pay varies based on experience and specialty. Start date contingent upon background clearance and availability.
Period of Performance: The work hours are 7:00AM to 4:00PM; eight (8) hours per day. 24/7 CRNA Coverage for Surgery Department, includes callback and weekend call. 40 standard hours per week plus pager, estimated 16 hours for callback and weekend call. An intermittent work schedule to fulfill known periods resulting from scheduled leave of approximately two (2) weeks or in the event of a personnel emergency resulting in a need for contractor coverage within 48-72 hours for a minimum of one (1) week will be required. Dates vary.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient and inpatient professional anesthesiology/Certified registered nurse anesthetist medical services or direct patient care services under the terms of this contract, appropriate and timely medical services in accordance with the standards of care established by recognized medical care organizations and in accordance with the policies and procedures of Service Unit's Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules & Regulations, including attendance at department and medical staff meetings. CRNA is individually responsible for the anesthesia care delivered.
- Provide on-call services after their regularly scheduled shift during the week and as scheduled on weekends. There is some variability of daily and weekly hours based on workload, emergency cases, scheduling of cases and staffing variability.
- Review patient history and examine the patient to determine the degree of surgical risk and ascertain the type of pre-anesthetic sedation to be ordered.
- Select the anesthetic best adapted to the patient's condition and advises and consults with surgeon regarding the patient's condition and the risk involved.
- Administer various types of anesthetics to render patients insensitive to pain during operation and other procedures, such as neuraxial and extremity blocks.
- Observe patients and monitors equipment and adverse reactions during anesthesia, advises surgeon or condition and initiates remedial.
- Monitor the patient for post-anesthesia complications and administers the treatment he/she determines as indicated.
- Completes necessary records of anesthetic administers; pre and post-anesthesia medications; his/her judgment of condition of patient prior to anesthesia, throughout anesthesia, and at close of operation.
- Provides consultation on difficult or most complex cases to practitioners in the same or other specialties.
- Makes appropriate referrals and obtains appropriate consultations after primary complete evaluation and documentation is complete.

Education and Experience:
- Required: CRNA must gave graduated with a master's degree from an accredited nurse anesthetist program with a minimum of twelve (12) months experience.
- Required: The CRNA must be board certified with the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Required: Must possess a current, valid, unrestricted appropriate license in any state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States, throughout the term of this contract. License verification must be provided at the time of application.
- Required: Must maintain a valid, current, full, and unrestricted DEA license with schedule types II through V and maintain certification throughout the term of the contract. License verification must be provided at the time of application.
- Required: Must maintain a valid and current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certifications. Certifications must be provided at the time of application.

- Required: Must possess a valid state driver’s license throughout the term of this contract.
- Required: Must be able to pass a federal background check.

- Physical Requirements:
- Able to frequently lift at least 50 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
- Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer and standing/walking.
- At the time of hire, must provide a fitness for duty certificate issued by a licensed physician to perform the proposed job without significant risk to personal health or the health and safety of others. No history of drug abuse, i.e. alcohol, narcotics, etc.
- At the time of hire, must provide documentation of evidence of immunizations as required by the facility's immunization policy.
