Aids Anesthesiologist in organizing courses of instruction for students, and partakes in resulting programs and demonstrations. Being a Chief Nurse Anesthetist prepares reports and compiles data dealing with specific anesthesia, drugs and techniques, and patients' reactions to them. Requires a master's degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing, and professional certification. Additionally, Chief Nurse Anesthetist typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
