Key Responsibilities:
The Chief of Staff has a critical role in supporting the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and the Board to enhance daily operations and ensure the execution of the company's strategic priorities. This role reports directly to the CEO.
You will gain a deep working understanding of Heritage's organization, partnership and business development challenges, ongoing and upcoming initiatives, thought leadership partners, as well as the network of existing relationships, and more.
You will be responsible for executing all initiatives, including customized outreach to key, senior-level contacts, in-person relationship building at events, development of conference talking points and presentations, and coordination with the Heritage team both before and after events.
As our strategic partner, you will be accountable for setting and prioritizing organizational objectives to ensure achievement. This includes monitoring progress towards our objectives and ensuring clear understanding among stakeholders.
Drive content creation and drafts of communication/meeting materials, presentations, and preparations including briefings for effective internal and external engagements of stakeholders, particularly the board, CEO, and senior leadership team.
Maintain effective communications with the leadership team, providing awareness of critical issues confronting projects/ initiatives and of the action plans for addressing those issues.
Be the custodian to ensure progress is made on various action items of strategic as well as tactical nature as promised/committed in board, leadership, and other meetings to create a high do/say culture.
Provide thought partnership to the CEO on strategic direction and team priorities - including strategy development, evaluating new ideas and opportunities, and conducting analysis and research to support key decisions.
Capable of collaborating with the CEO and other members of the top leadership team, both internally and externally, to build cross-functional partnerships and consensus to create a more results-focused, collaborative culture.
Coordination and orchestration of projects.
Continuously identify ways to improve the team's operational workflows and drive process improvements.

Qualifications and skills
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a similar field is required. (MBA preferred)
Experience: Proven 5-8 years of managerial work experience gained through increasingly responsible positions required. Strong organizational, operations management, and strategic planning skills required. (Consulting experience preferred) .
Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities High level of Integrity and professionalism. Strong problem-solving ability with strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Able to translate complex ideas and dispersed information into simple, actionable recommendations.
