As our Instructional Technology Technician, you will design, implement, and maintain academic classroom audiovisual control systems, monitor classroom audiovisual technologies to ensure user-friendly and on-demand function, troubleshoot technical problems and assist users with classroom audiovisual technologies as needed. In collaboration with the Instructional Technology Manager, you will assess the suitability of instructional technology systems in terms of intended uses/outcomes as well as proactively monitor and update technologies in academic classrooms to continuously improve user experiences and technology reliability. You will also assist the Instructional Technology Manager in maintaining an accurate inventory of instructional technology equipment and converting instructional media into different formats.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have an Associate degree or vocational or technical school degree and one to three years of relevant work experience. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer science/engineering or related field. Knowledge of/or experience maintaining Crestron control systems and monitoring applications (e.g., Crestron Fusion) highly desirable. Ability to be trained as a Crestron Level 2 certified programmer, with future development to include applicable certifications and continued training.
